This website (“Site”) is owned by Driving Solutions, LLC, doing business as The Informed Caregiver (“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, process, and distribute your information, including “Personal Information” (defined below), used to access this Site.

Some online purchases and services may have additional terms of use relating to that transaction.

Important: This Privacy Policy requires the use of arbitration on an individual basis to resolve disputes instead of a jury trial. By using our Site, you understand that you are waiving certain legal rights and are voluntarily agreeing to do so.

By using our Site, you consent to the terms of this Privacy Policy whether you have read it or not.

1. Minors

We do not knowingly provide services or sell products to children. If you are below the age of 18, you may use our website only with the permission and active involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

By using our Site, you attest that you are at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or guardian. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 18 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information.   • You waive the right to approve materials or receive royalties.

  • You release us and Course Rebel (our course platform) from related claims.

We retain Personal Information as long as necessary to fulfill its purpose or comply with law.

We do not knowingly use malware, spyware, or viruses.

10. Links to External Sites

Our Site may link to third-party sites (payment platforms, educational vendors, etc.). We are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or security. Please review each third-party’s privacy policy before sharing personal data.

11. Social Media

Our Site may include features that let you share content to social platforms. Using these features may result in data being collected by those platforms. Review each platform’s privacy settings to control what is shared.

12. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your data from misuse or unauthorized access. However, no online system is 100% secure. By transmitting information, you acknowledge you do so at your own risk. If a data breach occurs, we will notify you as required by law.

Keep your credentials confidential and log out after each session.

Access & Correction

Unsubscribe / Opt-Out

Follow unsubscribe links in our emails or contact us directly. This does not apply to essential transactional messages (e.g., appointment reminders).

Analytics Opt-Out

You may opt out of Google Analytics via the browser opt-out tool.

California Privacy Rights

We do not share data for third-party direct marketing. California residents may contact judy@theinformedcaregiver.com with “California Privacy” in the subject line for confirmation.

Do Not Track

We do not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals.

14. International Transfers

Your data may be processed or stored outside your home country, including the U.S. We apply the same privacy standards regardless of location.

15. Data Controller and Processors

We are the data controller for collected information and ensure our processors (e.g., payment, email, hosting providers) follow GDPR-compliant practices.

For third-party content (e.g., Course Rebel), that third party is the data controller.

16. Anti-Spam Policy

We comply with the CAN-SPAM Act (2003). You may unsubscribe from communications at any time.

17. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)

Our Site is for users 18 and older. If we discover a user under 18 without parental consent, their data will be deleted.

18. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

Any arbitration must be commenced within one (1) year of the incident.

19. Class Action Waiver

You agree to bring claims only in your individual capacity — not as part of a class action or representative proceeding.
